CP Strong Social
Saturday, October 4th from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Location: Rae Loft
The CP Social is organized by Cerebral Palsy Strong as our flagship annual event. It’s an in-person, celebratory experience! Think: unofficial happy hour/networking event/support circle — creating a space that doesn't typically exist for disabled people. This event provides an opportunity to make lifelong connections and build community for and with people with cerebral palsy in a more informal setting.

This event takes place at an accessible venue designed to bring people together to engage in conversation, share stories, enjoy food, drink, experience music, performance, even nature, and more.
The CP Social is typically an evening event (~five-hours) where we generate discussion on navigating life with a disability and invite speakers, panels, and moderated Q&A. Topics have included accessibility and ableism, career development, traveling, religion and faith, higher education, parenting, managing healthcare and self-advocacy, assistive technology and treatment options, and more.
It’s a lot of fun, and a little imperfect, but we’re just getting started!
CP Strong is a 501c3 Nonprofit Organization based in Portland, OR.
