Thursday Salsa & Bachata - Summer Offerings
Hola!
We have been trying out a slightly new (or old throwback) format these past few weeks with our Thursday nights. Even though we have paused the Tuesday dance nights for the foreseeable future, we are looking forward to what the future has in stall for us on Thursdays! We have greatly missed all of you these last few weeks and are excited to continue Thursday Dance well into the future.
Our regular events are held Thursdays from 8:00 pm - midnight (or later if people are really feeling the vibes).
Our admission is just $15 for both the class and social, or just $10 for the social. Please proceed upstairs and pay at the bar - it’s that casual and that simple. We no longer have a door person in place - and the front doors are unlocked.
We like how things have been going so far since the transition. We really like all the new faces that have come out to learn to dance - and appreciate that the social has been an amazing mix of native dancers and native Spanish language speakers and just about everyone else!
For now, here is the upcoming dance schedule:
8:00 PM: Doors & bar open!
8:15 PM - 8:45 PM: 101 Beginning Latin Dance Classes - With our fun and beloved weekly instructors Kendra and Danny.
8:45 PM - 8:45 PM: 201 Progressive Dance Classes - Perfect your moves and take your dancing to the next level with expert guidance.
9:30 PM - Late: Dance Social! Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cumbia music will be mixed all night long spun by DJ D'Mendez plus special guests.
Here is the rotation of dance class styles:
*1st and 3rd weeks of the Month: Bachata Classes
*2nd and 4th weeks of the month: Salsa Classes
*5th week of the month: Latin Mix (Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata)
