The PDX Women's Convergence
Surviving the cheeto-colored zombie apocalypse, a retreat for women wanting to scream into the void.
Are you angry? Do you want to do more to have a fighting chance at repairing the framework of our society? Do you want to gather with like minded women to create a community you can lean on when times get tough? Do you want to network and make new friends, learn a new skill, or say the things out loud you always wish you could (but maybe that's just not okay to do so at work or home?) Let's gather, breathe, learn, celebrate ourselves, empower each other, get whimsical, and buckle down for one weekend together.

The Bakery Blocks Building rests on traditional lands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River. Indigenous people have called the Portland Metro area their home for over 11,000 years. We recognize that Portland is a community of many diverse and vibrant Native peoples who continue to thrive, live, study, and work here. We respectfully acknowledge and honor all of the Indigenous communities, even those not named here —past, present, future—and are grateful for their ongoing presence. As a leaseholder in this building - on this land - Rae Loft acknowledges our privilege here, and recognize the systemic and governmental current and historical policies of genocide, relocation, and assimilation that still impact many Indigenous/Native American families today. As settlers and guests on these lands, we respect the work of Indigenous leaders and families, and pledge to make ongoing efforts recognize their knowledge, creativity, and resilience.
