I have missed going to clothing swaps. And I have definitely missed hosting Fancy Pants, our Rae Loft cozy clothing swap! 🌼
I am a big fan of free clothes. While I do like to try to support our local clothing shops and garment designers, I can’t always afford it! I hate how impersonal online shopping is. I would bet that half of my wardrobe comes from clothing swaps, naked lady parties, and free piles from my neighborhood Buy Nothing Network. Fancy Pants is all about freely giving and finding things that make you shine, and keeping those good condition items out of the landfill. Creative re-use is hot! Our size and gender inclusive event has returned and we are so very excited to bring it back right away!
Join us with your bag of good condition gently used clothing to swap (for free!) on Saturday, February 28th from noon to 5:00 pm. Refresh your wardrobe, keep good condition clothing out of the landfill, and find your free spring time favorites.
Event Agenda and Format:
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm:
Doors and Bar open. Grab a drink or a snack and snuggle up in our cozy venue featuring music, games, photo booth, and more!
Swap drop for all access levels: Drop off an organize your clothing into the right category spaces (tables, racks, and bins available to place out your items).
VIP early browse (get first access to any of the clothing and accessories while the General Admission folks wait to shop and swap). VIPS also get 10% off food and drinks!
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm:
GA access to any and all clothing and accessories.
Have fun - but please vacate by 5:00 pm.
Fancy Pants isn’t just any swap — it’s a celebration of style, community, and conscious fashion. Whether you’re a seasoned swapper or new to the idea, this event offers an easy, joyful way to give your gently used clothing a second life and discover fresh looks without spending a dime.
👗 What to Expect
Free seasonal clothing swap: Browse tops, bottoms, outerwear, shoes, accessories, swimwear, and more — all sizes, all genders, all styles.
Bring to trade or donate: Drop off your clean, gently worn items at the start of the event and then find new favorites. Leftovers are donated to support community needs.
VIP perks: Early browsing and 10% off food & drinks for VIP ticket holders.
Epic cozy atmosphere: A full vibe awaits with music, snacks, cocktails and mocktails, board games, and a photo booth to capture your new looks.
Social & inclusive: All ages are welcome — and the space is ADA accessible. Bring an empty water bottle if you like; a full bar is available for those 21+ with ID.

We will also have a photo booth and hair tinsel generously offered by Spellwoven Whimsy and Sparkle Coven Fairy Hair.
This event is not intended for clothing resellers. Be fair! Please give our true swappers a chance to find their gems. This event helps to keep clothing out of the landfills, and into the hands of people who value clothing trading rather than fast fashion. Nothing you need is on Temu, Shein, Amazon, or Wish.com. Your community can curate great looks for you - and we can help you find them!
All ages. No outside food or drinks (you may bring in an empty water bottle to fill). Bar access 21+ with valid ID.
